Fun in the sun...well, sort of...

Jason and I spent a week in Arizona but didn't see much sun due to the fact that we were in class all day long! The classes were AWESOME though--just so I can remember all that I learned! We discovered this fabulous program about a year ago that teaches you how to invest in real estate, save money on taxes, run a business, etc.... Yah, lots of cool stuff! We have learned so much from it. This was Jason's 4th college, my 3rd. But this was the first time we were able to leave both boys home. The last 2 times, we brought Kyden so we had to swap classes and babysitting since children aren't allowed. So, we had class with each other 4 out of the 5 days. Great times! Yes, some of you may be thinking we're crazy starting into the real estate investing business now with the economy the way it is, but it's actually the perfect time to begin. So if anyone is interested, let us know! We are just so glad we discovered it!
Here we are goofing off with the camera at break! We really are cool!

Looks like he's studying hard huh--what Jason study?! Whatever! Probably why he's not doing his masters quite yet. Just kidding Jason!! I love you tons!
We stayed with my Grandpa and his wife while in Arizona. They only live about 10 minutes from the college so we were lucky! Didn't have to fork out any money for a hotel. Our classes got out 5pm every night so we were able to spend some time together. My Grandpa took us to a little pizza place called Organ Stop Pizza. Yah, pretty cool huh! Here's some pictures from it. The organ actually goes down into the ground when on break. The boys would have loved it!
After pizza, we went to the Mesa Temple Outside Easter Pageant. It was really neat. Glad that we were able to go to it. It is quite the program. The pictures I took are aweful so you will just have to imagine how wonderful it was!It was nice to have a break from the boys, but we missed them and were so glad to come home to them. My Dad and Mom (mostly mom) had them all week. Thanks mom! You are amazing! We appreciate the sacrifice you made by watching the boys. I know it's no simple task!
Kyden actually fell head first into this basket and was stuck with his head in dirty clothes. It was pretty funny! Then he thought it was fun to play in the basket!

Lucky 1,2,3 !! Who will it be??

PaY iT FoRwArD!!
I found this fun idea on my friend's blog and thought it was a GREAT idea!! So be one of the first three people to comment on this and I will make you something- my choice!

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make NO guarantees that you will LIKE what I make! (I can only hope)
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It WILL be done this year.
4. You have no CLUE what it’s going to be … it may be cards, a bookmark, something delicious or a complete surprise to you (and me!) … who knows?
5. Most importantly, you MUST offer the same deal on your blog - the first 3 people to comment on your blog get something made by YOU! (you may surprise even yourself how creative you can be when the pressure is on)

Clarification...

Yes, for all those who didn't know or forgot, Kyden was born in our car. Of course, not by choice, but it really wasn't that bad. It made delivery a whole lot easier. Short story--Contractions were strong at home and coming and going for a couple hours, but not regular like when I was in labor with Braden (Jason could have told me when I was going to have another contraction). Getting ready to head to hospital and my water broke. Contractions really picked up then. Was fine until Sunnyside and then I felt like I needed to push. And that's when Jason stepped on the gas and sped 70 miles an hour (or faster) in a 40 speed zone! Yes, I was screaming because it hurt and I knew from experience that the baby was getting close to being born. We pulled into the hospital and Kyden's head came out (because as all of you mom's know, you can't not push when you need to--it's impossible). Jason ran around the car waiving to the people inside and got the door open just in time to welcome baby Kyden into the world!! Yahoo! It was great! We love our little Kyden though! He's a little bit more of a firecracker than Braden was, but he's wonderful! I just can't get enough of him!!

Happy Birthday Kyden

My baby is ONE! Wow, how the time flies. It kind of makes me sad that he's already one, but it's wonderful because of all he has accomplished in the first year of his life! He grew so much! We love him and are so grateful for the joy he bring into our lives each day! He loves the fire on the candle. He just kept saying "WOW".

Oh man! Kyden went crazy with his cake! He had both hands full of cake and just kept stuffing cake in his mouth. He ate his whole carrot cake cupcake and got mad when we took it away from him. So different from Braden because he wouldn't touch his cake on his first birthday--and still won't! But Kyden couldn't get enough!
This is where he was born a year ago! Has it really been that long ago?! So, we never got a picture of us together in the place of his birth, so we had to get one at the year mark!
