Happy Anniversary

We've been married for 6 years!! How the time flies! I am so grateful for you Jason! I didn't realize when we got married that I could love you even more than I did that day, but my love has grown and continues to grow! What an amazing thing it is to be married to you! We have grown and learned together and I wouldn't trade a day of it for anything! Thanks for everything you do for me! Love you tons babe!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We went camping Memorial Day Weekend and it was FREEZING!! It was fun but sometimes I wonder why we go when it's still so cold in the mountains. Last year was a lot warmer so I guess that's why we go. While we were there, it rained, snowed, hailed, with a little bit of sunshine. We spent most of the time in the camper watching movies, reading, and relaxing. I would have refused to go camping if we didn't have a camping to stay in. Camping in a tent would have been miserable and I wouldn't haven't lasted one night!! I hate being cold, yet I'm cold all the time! The boys actually stayed there longer than us with Grandpa and Grandma. Jason had to teach on Sunday so we came home. And although I wasn't there the whole time, both Jason and I were wiped out!! Being cold and doing nothing really knocked us out! We took a 2 or more hour nap on Sunday--NO BOYS! It was nice but we missed the boys!

Kyden and Grandpa on the 4-wheeler! He loves that thing. He would stay on it all day if we'd let him--even if his fingers are ice!

Hike

We went on a hike last week with some friends (moms and kids). We went last year with the same people so I think it has become an annual trip. But last year we really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. We thought the trail was paved the whole way, but it was only halfway. It was scorching hot, we all had strollers and walking children. We were dying of heat yet laughing all the way. It was probably quite the site. Anyway, this year the weather was perfect--it was overcast, not too hot and it didn't start raining until we were almost back to the cars. We all brought strollers too but this time knew what to expect. It is a very fun hike being the perfect length (for kids) and the kids love it!

This is the unpaved part--it's pretty steep in places and people probably think we are crazy bringing strollers but luckily there weren't many people on the trail that day. Plus, I would rather push Kyden that carry him. Pushing him doesn't hurt my back!!
Here's some of the kids but there were probably triple that many kids there.
Lunch!! We were starved after the little hike!
